Siri also known as Apple’s personal voice assistant which has been a big hit since it’s release and been admired by the CEO of Apple Inc, Tim Cook is now extended with LockAssistant. According to Tim Cook, he thinks that he can never live without a product which is still in beta testing.
Development of Cydia tweaks has been a big influence since iOS 5 public release. Developers has been focused on the most famous feature of iOS 5 i.e the Notification Center and having been creating many new tweaks like Widgets, Extensions and more. Developers were busy exploring iOS 5 developers center and Apple has pushed iPhone 4S and it’s most famous feature Siri which once again became the major influence for the tweak developers. We have seen many tweaks on the ground which integrates both Siri and Notification center, a major or minor way to launch Siri.
Today, we are going to tell you about a new cydia tweak which is not based on Notification center at all. This tweak is called LockAssistant which is developed by FreeManRepo allows you to talk to Siri in no time via lockscreen camera button. It requires only a single tap on the home button and you will see Siri in action.
LockAssistant have an option in settings.app to configure. By default the functionality of the tweak is set to turn off. What you need to do is to make sure that Siri is enabled in Settings.app, otherwise LockAssistant will crash your springboard once activated. LockAssitant is available in Cydia store under the BigBoss repository for free, alternatively you can use the download link below to download the .deb file and install it using iFile. Manual download is only recommended for those who knows how to perform this task or advanced users only.
