Many iPhone users have been looking for a way to block SMS, MMS or or even Calls from strangers. I have been searching for an app which can do this trick for so long in App Store, but the app store wasn’t seems to be promising.
Today we are going to tip a solution for this problem, and it’s called SMSNinja. SMSNinja is a beautiful summarized tweak by snakeninny which allows you to block SMS/MMS/Calls. Not only it blocks sms, mms, and calls but it also filters, locks and hides SMS/MMS and Calls from you phone memory.
SMSNinja is a highly effective firewall for those who are trying to get rid of irritating and annoying people. Once you will install the tweak, an icon will appear on the springboard. Tap the icon to launch the application, once launched you will notice that SMSNinja by default is set to turn on. You will also see other options like Blocked info, along with Black & Whitelist, and Private Zone. On the top left corner you will see a Readme button, you can read everything about how this tweak/app works by tapping on it (for further detail refer to the screenshot below).
On the right top corner of the tweak/app you will find a Settings button, when you will tap that button you will be redirected to the settings page of the tweak/app. You can of course choose what you would personally like to turn on/off according to your needs. SMSNinja allows you to lock MobileSMS.app and Mobilephone.app along with an option to turn on and off numbers on badge. You can also set how you would like the whitelist calls and messages to be alerted just by tapping and ticking the options provided. Blocked calls history can be avoided by switching the toggle to on mode. Last but not the least, you can set a password if you have enabled lock MobileSMS.app and Mobilephone.app applications. The developers have also asked for the feed-back which you can leave by tapping the feedback button which is located at the end of the settings page.
SMSNinja is available in the Cydia store under the BigBoss repository for free. Alternatively, you can download this tweak from a direct link available below. Manual downloads are only recommended for advanced users. If you’re not an advanced user, you’re highly advised to download via Cydia.
